About me
Luscia – Artist Biography
Born in Argentina (1980), Luscia is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative journey has been shaped by her years in Mexico and her current life in Italy. With a background in cinema studies, as well as photography and visual arts, she seamlessly merges these disciplines into her artistic expression.
Deeply influenced by Post-Impressionism, her work is a dialogue between abstraction and figuration, in a constant creative search. She allows her emotions—shaped by the profound changes in her life—to guide her artistic process, capturing the essence of cultural landscapes, natural environments, and urban settings. Her distinctive approach is anchored in axonometric perspective, where she deconstructs elements, emphasizing line, contrast, and the vibrancy of color.
Since beginning her professional artistic career in 2005, Luscia has led individual painting workshops and exhibited her work in public spaces and galleries across Argentina, Mexico, and Germany, both in solo and group exhibitions. She has also contributed to large-scale mural projects, further expanding her artistic footprint.
Her works are featured in galleries in Zacatecas, Pachuca, CDMX and Puerto Vallarta (Mexico), and she was selected to participate in the IV Biennale of Art in Genoa, Italy, in 2021.
Luscia continues to explore new artistic frontiers, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in her vivid, reconstructed abstract landscapes where imagination and reality converge.
